Dang. No Janss Pro Am for the second year in a row, thanks to the COVID pandemic.
But this year the Sun Valley Ski Education Foundation is refusing to let the virus have all the fun.
They’re celebrating the end of the season, and raising money for athletes in the SVSEF programs with Boulderdash 2021.
The fun and games will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 3, on Baldy.
Participants can race a dual gate format on Baldy’s Greyhawk or go on a Goosechase scavenger hunt across Baldy.
Costumes and masks are required.
It costs $200 for a team of four competing in the handicapped dual format race down Greyhawk. There will be amazing prizes plus a chance at bragging rights.
It costs $100 for a team of four competing in the Baldy Boulderdash, a mountain-wide scavenger hunt riddled with quirky missions, adventures, prizes and laughs. Teams can start at their own time, hunt down clues and complete duties to earn prizes. It should take about two hours to complete the whole hunt, with clues on the Goosechase app. Points will be awarded for such things as best costumes, funniest task competition and fastest time.
