Works of art are wanted for the upcoming six-month exhibition at Friedman Memorial Airport.
The SUN Airport Art Committee is seeking two-dimensional pieces of art for the 10th annual SUN Art Exhibition that runs June through Fall. Thirty or more works will be exhibited.
The submission deadline is April 30, 2021. A jury made up of airport representatives, the Hailey and Ketchum art commissions, local gallery owners and art advocates will review the submissions in mid-May and notify artists May 26. The artwork will be installed June 9.
If COVID protocol allows, there will be an artist reception.
The project is open to artists residing in Blaine County and artists who create artwork inspired by Idaho. There is no fee to apply.
