The Blaine County School District is searching for a new Wood River High School principal.
John Pearce, who has been WRHS principal for the past five years, has stepped down to pursue new career opportunities.
“We would like to thank John for his leadership and dedication to the students, staff and families of Wood River High School. Mr. Pearce worked daily to bring equity to all students at WRHS,” said Fritz Peters, interim superintendent of the BCSD.
The school district is also looking for a new district transportation supervisor to oversee busing and other transportation activities. The new supervisor will replace Lance Doby, who is moving into the private sector.
“We want to thank Lance for his work over his time in our district to bring new technologies to the transportation services for all our students,” said Peters. “We commend him for his work during a number of transitions the department had to make over the last half decade.”
