The Advocates will hold a Summer Social and Ribbon Walk-Through from 4:30 to 6 p.m. tonight—Friday, July 2--as part of its Color Our World.
Nearly 200 ribbons are now filling Memory Park in Ketchum, each ribbon representing a donation made to The Advocates.
Each “ribbon of hope” brings color and light to those impacted by abuse.
The Advocates are $25,000 away from reaching their goal of $340,000, thanks to donations and raffle sales. Raffle tickets can be purchased at the Summer Social.
Prizes include a six-night stay in Nuevo Puerto Vallarta, Mexico; tickets and lodging for the Sawtooth Valley Gathering music festival; a gift certificate package for valley restaurants; Boise State football tickets, a Sun Valley Challenger season ski pass and a River Run parking pass.

The Advocates provided 693 people with such services as shelter, crisis counseling, safety planning, transitional housing and English/Spanish support groups during 2020. The organization’s Prevention and Education department provided healthy relationship training to 4,272 youth and adults.
Color Our World is The Advocates’ sole in-person fundraising this year.
