Ketchum Mayor Neil Bradshaw trailed Perry Boyle in early returns but pulled the election off as Wood River Valley native Spencer Cordovano slipped into second place.
Bradshaw, who asked for four more years to continue work on Bluebird Village affordable housing and securing the Warm Springs Preserve, got 539 votes, or 35.25 percent.
Video producer Spencer Cordovano, who said it was time for the young to lead, got 489 votes, or 31.98 percent.
Perry Boyle, who pledged to protect the character of Ketchum with locals-first housing, got 443 votes, or 28.97 percent.
And Ketchum architect David Barovetto got 58 votes, or 3.79 percent.
In Ketchum's City Council race, incumbent Courtney Hamilton easily retained her seat, securing 1,011 votes, or 35.02 percent.
Ditto for incumbent Amanda Breen, who got 973 votes, or 33.70 percent.
Challenger Gwen M. Raney got 440 votes, or 15.24 percent; Reid Stillman, 364 votes, or 12.61 percent, and Mickey Garcia, 99 votes, or 3.43 percent.
Incumbents fared well in other parts of the valley, the exception being Carey:
