Remember the iconic 1950s store north of Ketchum that served as the setting for Marilyn Monroe’s “Bus Stop”?

They’re asking $15.995 million for it.

Of course, the property being marketed by Travis Jones and Svea Grover of Engel & Volkers Sun Valley  includes quite a bit more for that price.

In fact, it includes three buildings on the 11,720-acre estate.

  • A 6,152-square-foot home built out of stone and wood features five bedrooms and 5.5 baths, a den and walls of windows with decks on three sides of the home. It offers stunning views of the Boulder Mountains, as well as Bald Mountain and he Smokies.
  • A new party barn with silo has a large bunk room, full kitchen, living space, heated garage and sunroom.
  • And Gracie’s dinner and bus stop where rodeo rider Bo Decker wooed Marilyn Monroe during a blizzard has been remodeled into a rustic 2,082-square foot guest cabin that includes two bedrooms and multiple patios with firepits.
  • The icing on the cake is a lagoon-like water feature that flows between the residences.

The store was hauled by flatbed trailer during July 2019 from its former site near Oregon Gulch to its present site not too far down the road and across the highway.
