The Turkey Trot is a go this year.
The 18th annual Turkey Trot will be held Thanksgiving morning. And the first 400 fun runners to sign up get a special Turkey Trot hat from Davis Embroidery—with a turkey on it.
The trot starts at Carbonate and River streets, proceeds out Bullion/Croy Creek Road before taking a left turn through Lion’s Park, circling across the Draper Preserve Boardwalk and heading across the Bow Bridge into the Draper Preserve.
It’ll make another turn at the Heart Rock Tree before heading down War Eagle Drive, up Wolftone and Silver Star and back on Broadford Road and River Street.
Face coverings are required for the 5K fun run., and start times will be staggered to achieve social distancing.
Dogs are welcome but should be on leash.
