See your favorite Sun Valley athletes tear up Bald Mountain on the big screen when “The Stomping Grounds” screens at the Sun Valley Opera House.
The new film by Matchstick Productions will screen at 5:30 and 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 19. Organizers are raffling off a bunch of free gear, as well.
The film features professional skiers like Whistler, B.C.’s Mark Abma and Squaw Valley ski racer Michelle Parker. It takes viewers from a “born-and-raised resort” in Idaho to the Lyngen Alps in Norway.
Expect gorgeous big mountain photography with plenty of moon shots. Nice powder, too, with plenty of PBR toasts and synchronized freestyle shots.
Tickets start at $16 and all proceeds benefit the Sun Valley Ski Education Foundation.
