Idaho State Rep. Muffy Davis is among three finalists whose names have been submitted to Idaho Gov. Brad Little to fill Blaine County Commissioner Jacob Greenberg’s seat.
The other two finalists are Capt. Ron Taylor, a paramedic with Wood River Fire and Rescue, and Hailey City Councilman Juan Martinez.
The three finalists were among five applicants wanting to fill the mid-valley seat that Greenberg is vacating on Dec. 31, 2021. Greenberg announced earlier that he wished to retire.
All three candidates were interviewed by the Blaine County Democrats Central Committee per Idaho State Code 59-906A.
Little will appoint Greenberg’s replacement from these three names.
