Logan Frederickson has assumed ownership of the Windermere offices in Hailey and Ketchum, Idaho.
Frederickson purchased the Windermere franchise from Dan Gorham, who has been affiliated with Windermere since 1999 and has owned the two offices for the past five years. Gorham will remain with Windermere, serving as the Designated Broker and an agent. There are a combined 36 agents between the two locations.
Frederickson earned his real estate license in 2015 and joined Windermere in 2018. He also spent two years working as a trainee appraiser which he says gave him an even deeper understanding of the real estate process and local real estate market.
Frederickson started calling the Sun Valley area home in 2012 when he moved into a cabin his grandpa built in the 1940s. Following in his grandfather’s footsteps, he became a Sun Valley ski instructor.
“Ski instructing taught me the joy of helping people realize and achieve their dreams and goals. Since then, I have become somewhat addicted to helping people get better at skiing and I am excited to take this passion into a new realm in terms of helping agents and their clients realize their dreams and goals with all aspects of living in the Wood River Valley,” said Frederickson.
Gorham said he was thrilled with the internal transition and is looking forward to mentoring Fredrickson over the next few years: “The time was right for a new generation of leadership and this move serves the needs of Windermere clients, brokers, agents, and staff.”
Frederickson said that Windermere taught him that being a real estate agent is about much more than sales: “It taught me to reach out to prospective clients not because I wanted to sell them something, but because I am genuinely interested in their happiness. This might seem like a simple idea, but to me, it was a game changer in how I approached my career and my life in general.”
