Jodie Stejer likes to play with fire. She uses that fire to fuse together beeswax, resin and pigment to create abstract art. But she doesn’t stop there, turning bison skulls into works of art and making photographs shimmer by buffing them with wax.
The Ketchum artist is one of 41 Wood River Valley artists who will open their studios to the public during the Artists of the Wood River Valley Studio Tour Friday through Sunday, Aug. 19-21. The free tour will run from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
