Who needs slalom gates when you can use humans, instead!?

And who needs ski poles when end-of-the-season rain dictates that a paddle might work better?!

Sun Valley staged its annual Hawaiian Nationals Telemark mayhem, billed as the longest running tele race in the world, this past weekend on the Warm Springs side of Bald Mountain.

And, while the weather didn’t encourage hula skirts, flowered shirts and leis, folks did come out and make some splashing turns.

See the fun on today’s Eye On Sun Valley video.
