It started on Thanksgiving Day when Sun Valley Resort launched its 2018-19 winter ski season. And now many Wood River Valley residents are beginning to reach their Holy Grail—a pin featuring Sun Valley’s trademark sun that signifies they’ve skied 100 days this season.

“The 100-day pins are very popular for sure,” said Michael Fitzpatrick, who suggested the perk three years ago.
