STORY AND PHOTO BY KAREN BOSSICK

No need to head to Las Vegas where the temperature’s been in the triple digits for some casino fun.

Dust off your cowboy boots, tie a bandana around your neck and join friends for the second Wild West Game Night at the western saloon of Dale and Terri Bullock just north of Hailey.

The evening will include poker, blackjack and other games, with catered bites and a hosted bar included. There will be silent auction items and raffles and a chance for those with the most play money left at the end to win great prizes.

The fun starts at 5:30 and runs until 9 p.m. at the Bullock Saloon in Indian Creek. Tickets are $125, available at www.seniorconnectionidaho.org. The buy-in gets you $700 in play money to play roulette,  bingo, dart poker and more. And the proceeds go to The Senior Connection and Rotarun Ski Area, which provides affordable family skiing and beginning ski lessons for youngsters.

“Last’s year’s Wild West Night was so much fun,” said Hanna Bigelow. “It was so fun to play games with others—all for a good cause. And seeing the collections that Dale has assembled is worth the price of admission.”
