A new look at Blaine County’s housing needs and the impact of new development will be held at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 17, at Ketchum’s Community Library.
Representatives of the Blaine County Housing Authority will offer an update of Blaine County’s 2022 Housing Needs Assessment showing the preferences of residents seeking housing, such as housing type and location.
Matt Prosser of Economic & Planning Systems will follow that up with findings from the recently published nexus study, which quantifies the impact of new commercial and market-rate development on employee generation.
The study, “New Development’s Impacts of Community Housing Demand in Blaine County, Idaho,” was published with support from the Spur Community Foundation.
