The countdown to the end begins this weekend when Sun Valley Resort closes out the River Run side of Bald Mountain with a party featuring the Mike Reese Trio.

The trio featuring Nova Scotia recording artist Mike Reese will perform from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the River Run Plaza.

Reese has toured for 15 years across America and Canada playing bluegrass, Americana, jazz and blues. He’s opened for such acts as Taj Mahal, The Avett Brothers and John Prine.

Sun Valley Resort will close lift service for Seattle Ridge and River Run, the following day on Sunday, April 13.

Trevor Green will headline the annual Baldy Bash from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. Saturday, April 19, at Warm Springs Plaza. Green’s latest single “Come Undone” showcases a reflective side of his songwriting as he trusts in the natural world’s ability to provide answers to our deepest questions.

Sun Valley Resort will close out the 2024-25 ski season for good on Sunday, April 20, on the Warm Springs side of the mountain.

EASTER

Sun Valley Resort will also mark Easter Week this week with its annual Easter Egg Hunt at 5 p.m. Friday, April 18, on the Duck Pond Lawn outside the Sun Valley Inn. The Resort’s Head Bunny will hide more than 8,000 eggs on the lawn. And he’ll be there for photo ops with the young’uns, as well.

On Sunday the Sun Valley Club will host an Easter Brunch Buffet with kid-friendly dishes, traditional favorites and live music. Make reservations at 208-622-2135.
