It’s a charming cabin with a porch, chair, green trim and hanging flowers.
And, if you win this custom-built, one-of-a-kind children’s playhouse, you can rejoice knowing that you are providing assistance to those who lose their home due to fire.
Elite Restoration is auctioning off the playhouse during a community silent auction benefiting the Burnout & Benevolent Fund.
The project was conceived of and built by Elite Restoration with the help of several local businesses that donated materials and services.
The playhouse will hitch a ride in the Hailey Fourth of July Parade. Then, it will move to the post-parade Riverfest Celebration from 1:30 to 5 p.m. Saturday afternoon at Hop Porter Park where community members can see the cabin up close and submit bids throughout the day.
Can’t make it to Riverfest? Submit a bid in advance by contacting Karlee VanderWyst, marketing director for Elite Restoration, at Karlee@elite-restoration.com.
We wanted to create something that would bring families together while giving back to people facing some of life's most difficult circumstances," said Jaryn McKnight, Area Manager for Elite Restoration. "This project would not have been possible without the generosity of our sponsors and community partners who helped turn this vision into a reality."
The handcrafted playhouse is designed to resemble a rustic mountain cabin and showcases the craftsmanship and community spirit that make the Wood River Valley a special place to live and work.
Businesses helping Elie Restoration were Building Material Thrift, Classic Stoneworks, D-Swaner Welding, Inc., FBS, Mohawk, Resort Electric, Sticks & Stones, Cover the Earth and Standard Plumbing Supply.
