It’s guaranteed you’ll be dazzled when Sun Valley Ballroom returns to the stage of The Argyros on Saturday.
The performance featuring some of the world’s top dancers will take place at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 22. Tickets are available at https://www.theargyros.org/events-calendar.
Tickets range from gallery seating to a package that includes dessert and wine with the dancers to one that includes dinner prepared by Chef Joe Tocci in a private home followed by dessert and wine with the dancers and cabaret seating in front of the stage.
The event benefits The Spot theater company.
Don’t think this is a matter of watching couples twirl across the stage to Viennese waltz music. That can be mesmerizing—and it is part of the evening.
But the evening will also feature sizzling demonstrations of the tango, salsa and other Latin American dances, as well as such dances as the foxtrot.
Dancers include Arinia Grishania and Alexander Chernositov, who won the prestigious Blackpool Champions title in 2025, and Tatiana and Yegor Novikov, have won titles at the US National Championships, reached the World Championship podium in 2023-2025, and were Blackpool Vice Champions in 2025.
Austin and Liza Joson were the United States Juvenile and 10-Dance Champions, guest performers on ABC’s hit show “Dancing With the Stars” and are currently the United States Professional Latin Silver Medalists.
Tal Livshitz and Ilana Keselman are World Dance Council Amateur League World Finalists, ranked sixth in the world in open professional Latin dancing, and national champions in the U.S.
Curtis Collins and Beverly Durand are an internationally acclaimed dance team whose careers include the original Broadway cast of Swing! the first national tour of Forever Tango, and Disney’s Enchanted.
Other dancers are Lihn Ha, Kelty Forman, Lael Wood, Bridgette Pechora, and Parker Croad.
The show is being presented by international ballroom champion dancer and instructor Vasily Golovin and Mindy Meads, a local ballroom dancing enthusiast.
