It will look a little different. But the COVID pandemic can’t stop Mountain Masters.
Sun Valley’s Snowsports School will offer what some call the best bargain on the mountain during January and February.
Groups will be limited to a maximum of four. There will not be any apres activities. And groups will gather and launch outside the Lookout Lodge.
All that aside, the 36th season of Mountain Masters will offer the same exemplary ski instruction from the resort’s best instructors, according to Drew Merklinghaus, who heads up the program.
Full-day classes start Monday, Jan. 11, and run from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. weekdays through March 19. There will be no Masters sessions the week of Feb. 17, which is President’s Day Week.
Masters Thursdays, which offers a three-hour session from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Thursdays starts Jan. 14 and runs through March 11, with the exception of Feb. 18 during President’s Day Week.
