Conversacion de Ingles returns this week to Hailey Public Library.
The free six-week class led by Leonardo Padilla Sacha will be held from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Fridays, beginning Aug. 5, at Hailey Town Center West behind the library at 116 S. River St.
It’s designed for native Spanish speakers of all abilities in a structured but informal atmosphere. Additional free tutoring opportunities with a native English speaker are available before or after class or can be scheduled at a different time.
“We reached out to our Hispanic neighbors and they told us that a conversational English class was needed,” said Kristin Fletcher, the library’s programs and engagement manager. “We have been excited to see the response and are grateful to be able to continue to provide this important service.”
