Free English Language Learning Classes Start Tuesday

The Community Library will resume its free English Language Learning classes beginning Tuesday, Jan. 10.

Classes will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesdays through March 14. No registration is necessary and students are welcome to join at any date. The winter class will be followed by spring classes from April 4 to May 23.

The classes will be led by Janet Ross-Heiner, who has a Master of Art in Education-English as a Second Language. Also, Karen Little, who has a Master of Arts in Teaching degree. Both work part-time at The Community Library and the two have taught in the valley for a combined 40 years.

Students of all levels are welcome. There will be one class for beginners and another for intermediate and advanced students.

Students from Mexico, Peru, Brazil, Paraguay, Madagascar, South Africa, Belarus, Japan, Nepal and other countries have participated in the past.
