Santa has pets and pet lovers on his list.

And he’ll drop in at Mountain Humane’s Penny’s Barn from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 25, to pose for free photos with pet owners and their furry companions.

Professional photographer Amanda Rene will be on hand to take the photos. And Sen. Ron Taylor and his wife Alex Taylor will stand in for Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus.

There’ll be sweet treats and warm drinks, a holiday gift boutique and fun family activities. Donations of a new pet toy or unopened can or bag of food for Mountain Humane’s Pet food Bank will be gratefully accepted.

Attendees should keep pets on a leash or in a carrier. And dress warmly in case you need to spend a little extra time on the patio outside.
