100 Men Who Care gave away $62,223 to Wood River Valley nonprofits during 2023.

The philanthropic group has now given $449,970 since its first meeting nearly 11 years ago in February 2013.

The latest round of gifts went to three organizations:

  • Flourish Foundation--$3,075
  • The Advocates’ Skills for Success Program--$7,525
  • Girls on the Run of Southern Idaho--$3,850.

The gifts totaled $14,550.

“I like to celebrate our success by sharing the numbers, but the real success is the numerous needs being met for thousands of members in our community. We have supported the arts, human services, animal care, recreation, youth, as well as seniors, and more,” said founder Marty Lyon.

The first quarterly gathering of 2024 will be held at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 9, at the Community Library in Ketchum.
