The Senior Connection will be the beneficiary of Thursday’s Sip ‘n Shop at J. McLaughlin dress shop.

Fifteen percent of sales between noon and 5 p.m. Thursday, April 4, will go to The Senior Connection’s Meals on Wheels program, which provides meals for homebound seniors from Ketchum to Picabo.

“The program is 100 percent funded by local donations,” said shop keeper Sarah Howe. “We love that the program helps local seniors maintain their independence and stay in their homes by providing a hot meal, safety check and a friendly face.”

Jovita Pina, Mary Simms and Mardi Shepard are hosting and will be in the store on Thursday at various times to talk with our guests about the importance of the Meals on Wheels program.

J McLaughlin is located at 520 E. 4th St. in Ketchum just up the street from Atkinsons’ Market.
