View art as it happens when Kneeland Gallery holds its 33rd annual Plein Air Exhibition Monday through Friday, July 29-Aug. 2.
Eight of the gallery’s artists will take their canvasses into the open air as they try to capture the spirit and essence of a landscape or subject outdoors. And spectators are encouraged to watch and ask questions as they work.
The finished paintings will be hung in Kneeland Gallery during the Friday, Aug. 2, Gallery Walk from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Artists will be present for the reception.
There will be a variety of events during the week, including a Plein Air Workshop with Robert and Robbie Moore on July 29-30 and a demonstration at a time to be announced.
Artists taking part in this year’s Plein Air Exhibition are Steven Lee Adams, Jack Braman, John Horejs, Shanna Kunz, Lori McNee, Robert Moore, Robbie Moore and Garth Williams.
