“Hedwig & the Angry Inch,” a cult musical eclipsed only by “Rocky Horror Show,” will open Wednesday, Aug. 14, at The Spot.
The musical, considered to have one of the most exciting rock scores of all time, will run at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, Aug. 14-16, and Tuesday through Sunday, Aug. 20-25. Others shows will take place at 6 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 18 and Aug. 25.
The show will be held at The Spot, 220 Lewis St., in Ketchum. Tickets are available at www.spotsunvalley.com/hedwig.
The musical, which features text by John Cameron Mitchell and music and lyrics by Stephen Trask, centers around an East German glam rock goddess searching for self-acceptance and love.
It stars Kevin Wade with a supporting cast of Yanna Lantz, Tess Makena, Ben Larroquette, Elle Lucas and C. Gordon Knight.
The 90-minute musical is suitable for those ages 18 and up.
