Check out what’s under the hood, take your turn at preparing a terrain park jump and learn about the pathways open to caring for seniors during Far + Wise’s upcoming career camps.

Far + Wise is offering new camp experiences this winter in its ongoing series of camps that allow students to explore career possibilities in law enforcement, health, construction and even artificial intelligence. Students who take the Mountain Operation Boot Camp will even score a couple lift tickets to use on Baldy.

The organization is already working on summer camps, as well, one of which will involve spending a few days at College of Southern Idaho in Twin Falls where students will stay in dorms as they learn some of the building trades.

The trade camps, which Far + Wise introduced a few years ago, are having an impact, said Jennifer Gennuso.

One student, for instance, rode in an airplane during the first camp addressing airport careers and now is on track to become a commercial pilot. Another student, took a culinary camp at Sun Valley Culinary Institute and now is heading to the Culinary Institute of America.

Camp registration is available at https://www.ccefarandwise.org/
