Want to try out a fat bike on the eight to 12 inches of snow that fell Friday?
Trailhead Bicyclists is hosting its Quigley Squiggly Fat Bike Fun Race on Sunday, Feb. 9, at Quigley Nordic Trails in Hailey.
The Fat Bike Fun Race starts at 3:15 p.m., followed by an awards ceremony at 4 p.m. There’ll be fun prizes for race participants and even cheering spectators. Then, demos will be available to try out from 4 to 5 p.m.
Hot cocoa and s’mores around the fire will be available for all.

And, if you fall in love with fat biking, you can sign up for a Full Moon Fat Bike Ride at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 12. The ride at 6 p.m. is tentatively planning to leave from the Baker Creek Parking lot, conditions permitting.
