The Flourish Foundation is sponsoring a three-day workshop titled “The Art of Dying” Sept. 26-28.
The workshop, held at the Flourish Office at 1030 Airport Way in Hailey, will help attendees imagine that unavoidable end-of-life transition as more than something that happens to you. It will offer new ways of experiencing the transition through discussion, journaling, art, film and movement to help attendees let go of the fear around death.
Facilitators are Kate Riley, a certified death doula, and Ryan Redman, executive director of the Flourish Foundation.
Hours are 6 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to noon Sunday. Lunch will be provided on Saturday.
Cost is offered on a sliding fee scale from $75 to $300, and class size is limited to 25. Learn more by emailing https://www.flourishfoundation.org/contact.
