The Wood River Land Trust is looking for volunteers to help clean up the Big Wood River on Saturday.

Participants in the 8th annual Big Wood River Clean-Up can meet at one of three check-in hubs to pick up supplies: Howard Preserve in Bellevue, Draper Wood River Preserve in Hailey at the Lion’s Park entrance and Warm Springs Preserve in Ketchum.

Volunteers will receive a free cookie coupon from Wylde Beet and a free drink ticket from Sawtooth Brewery. They also will receive a limited-edition Big Wood River Clean-Up T-shirt available in advance at Cox Communications’ Residential Store on Lewis Street or on the event day at all three event locations.

A Clean Up After Party will be held at noon Saturday at the Sawtooth Brewery in Hailey where raffle winners will be announced.

Raffle tickets may be purchased online—you do not need to be at the Brewery to win. Prizes include lift tickets to Sun Valley Resort; a month’s membership at Zenergy Health Club and Spa; four mountain bike or Nordic ski/snowshoe rentals at Galena Lodge; a night’s stay at Smiley Creek Lodge with snowmobile rentals; a set of Sun Valley pints, tumblers and coasters, and gift cards to Sonic Boom, Roots Wine Bar, First Lite, Wylde Beet, Elephant’s Perch and Backwoods Mountain Sports.

Raffle tickets cost $15 each or $100 for ten and are available at https://www.woodriverlandtrust.org/big-wood-river-cleanup-raffle. Proceeds from the raffle will support the Wood River Land Trust’s mission to protect treasured landscapes and the life-giving waters of the Wood River Valley.
