It takes a hundred-pound child 44 hours of walking to burn off the calories in the average amount of candy a child collects on Halloween. That’s three cups of sugar or 169 sugar cubes.
Wood River Valley children should be off to a great start, what with a couple hours of walking through downtown Hailey during the annual Halloween Hoopla and another hour through Sun Valley Village during the resort’s annual Halloween spooktacular.
Halloween in the Wood River Valley commences tonight with the Blaine County Education Foundation’s spooktacular movie at The Liberty Theatre and runs through Saturday, Nov. 1, with The Liberty Theatre’s screening of the movie “Sinners.”
