The Hailey Grange has been hopping the past couple months with dancing and potluck suppers.
And tonight will be no different.
The Upper Big Wood River Grange will host a Holiday Country Dance tonight—Friday, Dec. 12—at the grange at 609 S. 3rd Ave. in Hailey.
The potluck dinner begins at about 5:45 p.m.—bring a dish to share. A dance basics lesson begins at 6:30 p.m. And dancing with caller David Quinley and the Strings Attached band will follow from 7 to 9 p.m.
This dance will be a little different from previous dances, which were contra dances. This time Quinley will call group dance numbers to old-time country music.
No experience is needed. And no partner is needed as you can find new partners to swing at the dance.
Cost is $15 for singles, $25 for couples and $5 for teens. The dance is free for pre-teens.
