Brett Rescigno, Fiamma’s chef and co-founder, is returning to Guy Fieri’s Tournament of Champions on the Food Network.

The season premieres Sunday, March 1. A qualifiers show aired Feb. 15 and The Bracket Reveal will air on Feb. 22.

Rescigno has been designated one of 32 of the nation’s best chefs picked to compete, according to the Food Network.

The competition will feature 31 “grueling head-to-head battles” over eight weeks, according to the PR for “Tournament of Champions.” One will take home the coveted Tournament of Champions belt and a $150,000 cash prize.

Rescigno has been in the kitchen at the Food Network before. She won “Chopped” in 2019 and she “Beat Bobby Flay” with her grandmother’s chicken and dumplings recipe. She won “Guy’s Grocery Games” and she made an appearance on “Extreme Express Lane.”

She made it to the final four of “Tournament of Champions” in its fourth, fifth and sixth seasons.

Rescigno and Kinsey Leodler-Rescigno opened Fiamma, an Italian-inspired live-fire restaurant in downtown Ketchum, a year ago. Their restaurant was promptly designated the prestigious AAA Four Diamond designation.

They were one of four restaurants nationwide to receive the designation in June and only the third restaurant in Idaho to hold the honor.
