The Blaine County Recreation District is hosting May Day Play Day, a free family-friendly event, from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 30, at Quigley Trails Park in Hailey.

Wood River Valley residents of all ages are encouraged to bring their bikes and enjoy Quigley Trails Park’s Flow Trails, Jump Lines, Pump Tracks and skills features. Hikers can enjoy the Quigley Loop Trail around the perimeter of the canyon.

BCRD is offering free tacos, beer and non-alcoholic beverages and s’mores around the campfire. It’s recommended that dogs stay home for safety purposes.

Quigley Trails Park offers two pump tracks, flow trails, jump lines, and multi-use trails, making the facility BCRD’s most popular trailhead, right in the heart of the Wood River Valley. In winter when the snow falls, Quigley Trails Park offers 18 kilometers of groomed Nordic trails for classic and skate skiing.
