The second annual State of the Big Wood will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 20, at The Argyros in Ketchum.
The evening will celebrate the release of Project Big Wood’s annual State of the Big Wood report.
It also will feature a film highlighting the past year of river data, a keynote speech, a panel with a live Q&A, art, a boat raffle and silent auction to kick off the fishing season and raise $100,000 for the restoration of the river that runs through the Wood River Valley.
Tickets for the evening are $35, available at https://www.projectbigwood.org/event-details/state-of-the-big-wood-1.
Raffle tickets for the NRS boat are $25 and can be purchased online or at the door on the night of the event. A combo ticket—event admission plus one raffle entry--is available for $50.
Project Big Wood is a local nonprofit that advocates for the long-term health and restoration of the Big Wood River through data, education and earthworks. The evening is made possible with the support of Sawtooth Brewery, Silver Creek Outfitters, First Lite, CHUMS, Rising Nets, Decked, Lamson, Tonic and artists KC Badger, Mike Pepper, and Heather Pedersen.
