STORY AND PHOTO BY KAREN BOSSICK

Check out The Burning Hatter and cool off with Devoto Gelato at The Market this weekend.

Susan and Mark Nieves of Independent Goods and Diane Stewart-Heiner of Whytecloud Mountain Gems have brought back The Market to Ketchum’s Forest Service Park.

The juried market will be held under the tall pine trees planted in 1934 by the Civilian Conservation Corps from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. today—Saturday, July 25—and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, July 26.

There are 50 makers, vintage curators and artists plus food and DJ Snowman and DJ locomotive.

Participants include Be a Legend Vintage Clothing, Chisel Custom Décor, Coastal Cashmere, Lala’s Fresh Pots, Mad Woman Metals, Marie Stewart Designs and Vintage Reimagined.

And be sure to avail yourself of an Piedaho pie or even a handheld pie while there. Given the warm temperatures we've been having, they are warm and toasty as if they just came out of the oven!
