Superintendent Candidates to Make Pitch to the Community

The Blaine County School District Board of Trustees will host a community-wide forum with the two finalist candidates for the next district superintendent on Thursday.

The event will take place from 6 to 8:15 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 7. To join, go to  https://us02web.zoom.us/j/81994296172.

People can also join by phone by calling 312-626-6799 and entering code 819 9429 6172. The forum will be recorded and shared, as well.

The finalists are James Foudy and Heather Sanchez. Foudy is superintendent of the McCall-Donnelly School District in McCall, Idaho. Sanchez currently serves as executive director of schools of the Bellevue School District in Washington.

The board’s search firm, Hazard, Young, Attea, and Associates, will host and moderate the forum. One finalist will join from 6 to 7 p.m. while the other will join from 7:15 to 8:15 p.m. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions of the candidates. A Spanish audio option will also be available.
