Kids are invited to create family portraits, design beads and put together collages when the Sun Valley Museum of Art offers its free Afternoon Art program.

The program will be held on three consecutive Friday afternoons beginning Feb. 19 at The Museum at 191 Fifth Street E., in Ketchum.

There will be two separate 50-minute sessions each afternoon, with one starting at 2:30 p.m. and the other at 3:30 p.m. Each session will be limited to four families to provide physical distancing, and preregistration is required.

The sessions:

Feb. 19—Shape and Color Collages

Feb. 26—Bead Designs

March 5—Family Portraits

“We are excited to bring back our Afternoon Art family program this season,” said Katelyn Foley, SVMoA’s director of Education and Humanities. “Because of COVID-19, we have created new protocols to promote safety during these sessions, which include participants’ registering a family table ahead of time.”

To register, visit www.svmoa.org or call 208-726-9491.
