Being a bookworm just got easier.

The Community Library and Hailey Public Library are joining hands in a new reciprocal arrangement to accept each other’s book returns.

Library patrons can return The Community Library books at the Hailey Public Library and they can return Hailey library books at The Community Library.

The returned books will be couriered to their respective origins weekly.

Spokesmen noted that the two libraries operate independently with The Community Library being a privately funded public library and the Hailey Public Library, a city-funded library.

“But we share a common purpose to connect people with books and ideas,” librarians said in a statement. “And we hope this arrangement will make it even easier for people to check out books from either location and return them where it is convenient.”
