A poolside concert and fundraiser will be held on Thursday, Aug. 25, for the Alzheimer’s Association.
The event will be held from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 25, at Zenergy Health Club & Spa in Ketchum.
The Kim Stocking Band will perform western/folk music, La Cabanita will serve up the vittles, and each ticket purchase enters the guest in a raffle for great prizes. Drinks will be available for purchase at The Peak.
In addition, Alix Hilton, the senior walk manager for the Idaho Chapter of The Alzheimer’s Association, will provide an update on the battle against Alzheimer’s and outline ways in which the Alzheimer’s Association can support Wood River Valley residents. And it will offer attendees a way to make a donation to support the services and research provided by the Alzheimer’s Association.
The Alzheimer’s Association accelerates global research, provides early detection and maximizes quality care and support.
About 27,000 Idahoans live with Alzheimer’s, according to Jeffra Syms, who is organizing the event with Derek Agnew, general manager of Thunder Spring LLC. That means raising awareness of the services provided by the Alzheimer’s Association has never been more important, she said.
Tickets are $50, available at Celebrate Community - A Poolside Fundraiser for Alzheimer's Tickets, Thu, Aug 25, 2022 at 5:30 PM | Eventbrite. A ticket purchase enters the guest into a raffle for prizes.
Those who cannot attend but would like to make a donation may do so at 2022 The Longest Day Donation Form | The Longest Day - Help Fight Alzheimer's on June 21, 2022
