The Blaine County Recreation District has launched a new and improved version of its Summer Trailink portal, the community’s official source for trail information.

For almost 15 years, BCRD’s Summer Trailink has provided residents and visitors with interactive maps, trail reports, elevation profiles, weather and air quality updates, and livestock location details. The redesigned system builds on those strengths while offering a faster, more user-friendly experience.

In 2011, BCRD built Summer Trailink from scratch. It serves as the official source of trail information for our community and is a valuable platform to share important information from our land management agencies.

The updated Summer Trailink features streamlined navigation, responsive design for mobile devices, and a consolidated “Trail Report” page that puts webcams, weather updates, and important notices from land management agencies, all in one place.

Users can also filter trails by activity type, making it easier than ever to plan outdoor adventures.

“The trail system is one of the great treasures of Blaine County, and BCRD is committed to making it as accessible as possible,” said Mark Davidson, Executive Director of BCRD. “This new version of Summer Trailink reflects that commitment, giving residents and visitors the tools they need to explore our valley safely and responsibly.”

The new Summer Trailink is now live and available at https://bcrd.nordic-pulse.com/ski-areas/US/ID/region/Blaine-County-Recreation-District or, for short, summertrailink.bcrd.org. It is also accessible from BCRD’s homepage at https://bcrd.org/.

Road construction put a damper on hiking the rails around Sun Valley and Ketchum this summer for those who live south of Ketchum. But there’s still time to enjoy some of the trails up north.
