With summer coming it will soon be time again for garden parties. Marie’s Ahi Tuna Poke in Spring Roll wrappers is easy to make—fun to make, even, especially if kids are around to watch. And they’re a hit at dinner parties.

Marie’s Ahi Tuna Poke

1 tablespoon sesame seed oil

1 teaspoon Black sesame seeds

1 teaspoon White sesame seeds

Sea salt, pinch

2 tablespoons scallions, diced

7 ounces raw ahi tuna, diced

1 tablespoon white or red onion, diced

2 tablespoons soy sauce

Lime zest

vegetable oil

Spring Roll Wrappers

Put diced ahi tuna in a bowl. Add soy sauce, sesame seed oil, scallion, sea salt, onion, black and white sesame seeds and zest of lime. Mix and taste. Add more soy sauce if needed.

Heat vegetable oil in pan until very hot. Cut Spring Roll wrappers to any size and test a small piece in the oil. If it blows up like a volcano, it’s ready. Add as many pieces of wrappers to the oil as you wish. Drain on paper towel. Spoon poke into the wraps.
