Bike Building Palooza

Saturday, September 7, 2019

It took just 10 to 15 minutes from box to finish. And in that time nine Wood River Valley youngsters had shiny new mountain bikes.

Cox Communications enlisted the aid of eight additional organizations over Labor Day weekend to build the bikes for youngsters who didn’t have bikes of their own. And they presented them to the kids during the wrap-up party for Rebecca’s Private Idaho gravel bike race.

Eye on Sun Valley’s Karen Bossick takes you to the site as Cox Communications takes on bike builders from Bellevue Elementary, Ketchum Professional Firefighters, Wood River Community YMCA, Sturtevant’s Bike Shop, Wood River High School Mountain Bike Team, Mountain Rides, Syringa Mountain School and the Limelight Hotel.
