Swiftsure Ranch Scares Up Donations for Equine Therapists

Thursday, October 31, 2019

It was not a dark and stormy night when Swiftsure Ranch staged a Halloween fest revolving around its Haunted Barn.

In fact, it was a pleasant autumn evening in what has been a record setting bone chilling October that has even left the skeletons in the Wood River Valley shivering.

Eye on Sun Valley’s Karen Bossick introduces you to Swiftsure’s new director Paul Bennett, a native of England and a former carriage driver at Colonial Williamsburg, in this short video. And she focuses on  the pumpkins and other shenanigans that helped raise money for the free equine therapy lessons the ranch south of Bellevue offers to those with PTSD, Parkinson’s Disease, cognitive difficulties and other challenges.

P.S. Don’t forget the Halloween Hoopla from 3 to 5 p.m. today—Happy Halloween!—in downtown Hailey.
