Reaquaint Yourself with Wildflowers of Sun Valley

Sunday, May 24, 2020

We may not be able to hug our neighbors during this age of coronavirus. But nothing says we can’t reach out and touch some of our other neighbors—the beautiful wildflowers that reside in our backyards.

Eye on Sun Valley’s Karen Bossick joins Kristin Fletcher, the president of the Idaho Native Plant Society-Wood River Chapter, to reacquaint you with some of the gems under our feet in today’s video.

And, stay tuned—the Wood River chapter will have its first Spring and Summer Wildflower Hike of 2020 on Saturday, May 30, at Taylor Canyon north of Ketchum. Walkers should meet at Hailey Park and Ride at 9 a.m. or at the Lake Creek parking lot north of Ketchum at 9:45 a.m., being prepared to physically distance.
