The tree at the Sun Valley Culinary institute boasts broccoli, along with avocados and a chef’s hat on top. Foot-tall elves and deer have taken their place among the Rosy Enchanted Forest of a Christmas tree at Windermere in Hailey.

And the tree at Jane’s Holiday House? Well, it’s Truckin’ right along with vintage cars taking their spot from the top to the bottom.

Check out the road that got the 2020 Festival of Trees to this point in today’s Eye on Sun Valley video. Then, check out the trees for yourself through Friday, Dec. 10, in Hailey at D.L. Evans Bank, Jane’s Holiday Store, the Hailey Public Library and Windermere.

Additional trees are on display in Ketchum at Atkinsons’ Market, Sun Valley Culinary Institute, Starbucks, SWAY, The Argyros, Mountain West Bank, Zenergy and Silver Creek Outfitters.

Money raised from this year’s festival goes to The Senior Connection’s Meals on Wheels. You can bid on a tree for your home or business at FOT.afrogs.org. Or you can text a code or scan a QR code on the tree with your smart phone.

The Senior Connection is also offering a Buy One/Give One special on decorated two-foot trees and wreaths for $250. The buyer keeps one, giving the other to seniors on the Meals on Wheels route.
