They started practicing in early fall, just as the leaves were beginning to turn golden.
Chimes of “I Saw Three Ships” and “Ding Dong Merrily on High” have been ringing in their ears ever since. And now members of the Caritas Chorale are ready to share them with Sun Valley-area residents.
The Caritas Chorale will present A Caritas Christmas Concert at 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, and at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 11, in the Wood River High School Performing Arts Theater on the Community Campus in Hailey.
Musical numbers will include crowd favorites like “Away in a Manger,” “Go Tell It on the Mountain,” “I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day,” “Angels We Have Heard on High,” “Something Told the Wild Geese,” “Good Christian Men Rejoice” and “Jing-a-Ling, Jing-a-Ling.”
“Caritas is so excited to share music during this festive season,” said Musical Director R.L. Rowsey. “We have been so proud to remain active in many ways that connect with our community over the past two and a half years, but the chance to sing a concert indoors this season is a real thrill.”
