Hospital leaders will review the first 25 years of St. Luke’s Wood River and look at the future during a community conversation on Tuesday, Feb. 3.

“Caring for the Valley: A Community Conversation with St. Luke’s Wood River” will be held Tuesday, Feb. 3, at The Community Library. Light refreshments will be served and Spanish translation will be available.

The evening will begin at 5 p.m. with an opportunity to meet St. Luke’s team members and explore displays showcasing programs services and community partnerships.

The panel discussion and Q&A will follow from 5:30 to 7 p.m.

Joy Prudek, who handles public relations for St. Luke’s Wood River, will moderate the panelists, who include:

•    Sandee Gehrke – Executive Vice President & COO

•    Lucy Dennis – VP Operations, Physician Services/Clinics

•    Megan Stright – Chief Operating Officer, Clinic Administration

•    Almita Nunnelee – Chief Nursing Officer/Chief Operating Officer, St. Luke’s Wood River

•    Megan Tanous – Chief Development Officer, St. Luke’s Wood River Foundation

•    Sarah Seppa – Director of Community Engagement/Community Health

They will reflect on key milestones from the past 25 years. They’ll talk about what services are available locally, including virtual care options, and they’ll discuss specialized services offered in Twin Falls and Boise.

They will also assess current and future health needs and talk about the role of philanthropy in making services and innovations possible.

“St. Luke’s Wood River is deeply rooted in this community, and we’re proud to celebrate 25 years of partnership and service,” said Almita Nunnelee, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Nursing Officer at St. Luke’s Wood River. “This event is about strengthening those connections and making sure everyone knows what care and resources are available close to home—and across our system.”
