Load up on baskets, books and bikes today at the Friends of the Hailey Public library first annual Plant Sale, Pop-Up Book Sale and Bike Raffle.
The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the patio of the Hailey Public Library.
The Friends will sell 12-inch hanging flower baskets provided by Webb Nursery, along with a curated collection of gently loved books on gardening and other popular titles.
And they’ll be selling raffle tickets for a brand new three-speed cruiser donated by Sturtevant’s.
The drawing for the bicycle, which comes with a handlebar basket and other fun swag, will be held at the fourth annual Wood River Land Trust RiverFest at Lion’s Park following the fourth of July Parade. Tickets are $5 each or five for $20.
Sara Baldwin, president of the Friends of the Hailey Public Library, said that proceeds from today’s event will go to support the library’s collections, programs and services.
“We will have music and it should be a lovely time,” she added. “And anyone who has not been in the library for awhile should definitely make a point of stopping by. It’s really changed in the past year.”
