There will be three opportunities to network this month.
All three events will offer the opportunity to network while enjoying complementary food, beer and wine served up by local businesses.
About five dozen people attended the last BAH co-sponsored by The Nature Conservancy, Trout Unlimited and Wood River Land Trust.
Attendees played corn hole under the trees on the WRLT’s historic property and nibbled on Cosmic Cheese Sandwiches and Salmon Pasta Salad served up by Al McCord from the Wood River Sustainability’s mobile truck. And they celebrated the birthday of Scott Boettger, executive director of the Land Trust.
Keri York, who grew up in the Wood River Valley and has worked for all three organizations, recounted how neat it was to come back home following college and protect the places she loved and grew up in.
Mark Davidson of Trout Unlimited told how the organizations are working on water arrangements that will not only benefit the residential community but the agricultural community which, he noted, doesn’t always get so much attention.
All three organizations are working on a holistic land management plan for the Rock Creek Ranch area west of Hailey, he added.
